The spiderflower (Cleome ‘Senorita Blanca’) in the lower left, and the coleus ‘Colorblaze Marooned’ in the lower right are two of my top three favorites. I really like a limited color palette, so lantana ‘Luscious Berry Blend’ is my least favorite of the Proven Winners 2013 plant ho plants. Several gardeners have offered to take him off my hands, but he might be starting to grow on me. He's kinda cute in a super flashy way.

I will try and post again soon. There is so much going on right now that I want to show you.

Hey Peggy! I love this blog and the photos are just gorgeous! Just wanted to touch base after meeting you on the lake this past weekend. Loved the gardens and we had a great time on the mini-tour. Thanks again for the Black Elephant Ear!

I like your idea of ‘wine time’. I too have had life get in the way of enjoying my garden and writing – but the peace we get from our plants goes a long way…. stay in touch – and enjoy.
